Rocks, glacier, ice and wide views

Hardangervidda 2016As a small christmas present, her comes the Hardangervidda gallery. The biggest high plateau of Europe, which is located completely above the timberline, and the Hardangerjøkulen, the sixth-largest glacier of Norway, provide fantastic views and an intense nature experience. The result is a gallery containing peerless and very impressive landscape photographs.

Prague 2015

Prag 2015Finally the sequel to the backpacking through Elbe Sandstone Mountains last year is published. Due to the bad wheather there, I had four days to marvel at Prague – no doubt one of the most beautiful cities I had the honor to take photos from. You can find the pictures in the new gallery.

Elbe Sandstone Mountains 2015

Elbe Sandstone Mountains 2015After a longe winter pause photo.damgo is finally back with a new gallery. This gallery shows pictures from my last autumn holidays, a hiking tour through Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland. At least the first days weather was on my side, so I could enjoy the landscape and the open air of Saxon Switzerland for three days and three nights.

Extraordinary pictures of Cologne

photo.damgo.de is back with its first gallery of Cologne. Under the motto “Extraordinary Cologne” I carried together a score of my rather extraordinary pictures of the Cathedral City. Among spectacular thunderstorm photographs it contains partly experimental pictures of Severinsbridge and the Rheinauhafen and a “Ghost Fun Fair” in Deutz.

Dresden and the gateway to Saxon Switzerland

Dresden and Bastei 2013The weekend trip to Dresden two years ago was for me by far the most rewarding getaway. In my new gallery, I would like to present the Dresden architecture and the landscape of the Bastei with its rock pinnacles, which in a sense represents the gateway to Saxon Switzerland.

Fjord photographs

Lysefjord 2014The story goes on! For the second gallery I now have picked the images from Norway holidays 2014. In particular, the 1000 meters high cliff of Kjerag and the nigght at Pulpit Rock offered me opportunities for impressive landscape photographs.
Incidentally, I had nine days on the fjord with no electricity and only two batteries for the camera, of which one was accidentally empty – knock on wood!

photo.damgo is online now!

Lofoten Winter 2015It’s finally done – photo.damgo.de goes online with a first gallery of my own photos!
In this first gallery you see pictures of the journey to Lofoten Islands this year, that I have selected and edited for this purpose.
Incidentally, I want to dedicate myself more to my hobby film and photography. Gradually more photos of my journeys and from Cologne, as well as my Pinhole Cam images will be added in the coming weeks and months.

I hope you have as much fun watching as I when creating this website and photographing!
Martin
