Winter holidays on Lofoten Islands, February/March 2015
Wild sea, craggy snow-covered mountains, turquoise fjords, lonesome beaches and a unique soft light. The Lofoten offer a natural spectacle of a very wide range.

Located above the Arctic Circle on the same latitude as southern Greenland and the north of Alaska, the tails of the Gulf Stream provide a very mild climate – no place in the world differs from the average temperatures of its latitude as much as Lofoten Islands. Due to its location in the Aurora Oval, also Northern Lights can be observed here quite well.
In particular, the varied nature and the warm light make the photographer’s heart beat faster.
